Do you believe, we live in a world that we have no control over?
Do you think you are, too insignificant make a difference?
Then give me the benefit of the doubt and try something different!
I have been practicing, a beautiful forgiving meditation called Ho’oponopono daily, for about six months.
This meditation is of ancient Hawaiian origin and was brought to light by Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len. Now this is going to sound far fetched but, Dr Len cured a whole ward of criminally insane asylum patients by only reading their files and healing them by healing himself through Ho’oponopono meditation.
Ho’oponopono is an enchanting song you can get from Youtube or you can Google it.
Ho’oponopono is simply meaning the words: I’m Sorry, Please Forgive Me, Thank You and I Love You.
Now you’ll think I’ve really lost it but let me tell you, It has changed the way I think and feel about everything!
It has made me realize that: I lived in the past, relived old worn out patterns; that I created and in turn, I generated the same people and events entering into my life, that I did not want to attract. I had been sabotaging my life with my own thoughts. Blaming everyone else for what was always happening to me.
Until six months ago, I lived in the Poor Me Street of Struggle Town. Do you currently live at this address? If you want to move, then give this a go! There are lots of different versions of the song from 5 minutes to and hour. I usually do the 5 minutes and Ho’oponopono whatever, is all up in my face. It could be a Boss, Friend, Relative, Event, Immediate Family Member the Cat or Dog. If you can’t listen to the song then say the words under your breath while thinking about that person or event. Say it in the car in that traffic jam. Say it to the news. Say it when your running late. Say it when the kids are driving you nuts. Just say it and see if it helps.
If everyone in this world practiced this meditation, the world would be an incredibly kind, thoughtful, safe, peaceful place and everyone would be happy.
If you are looking for something to change your life, by investing a couple of minutes of your time a day, then give this a go.
There is another thing I do daily but that will have to wait and be another post.
